Terms of Use
Please abide by these rules at all times when using the icons.
1. NO DIRECT LINKING. If you direct link, it eats bandwidth, and my bandwidth is already eaten fast enough. If people direct link, chances are I won't be able to keep Iconicized - the bandwidth will get too expensive. If you aren't using my icon in a journal, you need to upload it to another server. There are plenty of free image servers out there - pick one. My personal favorites are Photobucket and Strike9.
2. Please ask before you modify an icon. I generally don't mind, but if I randomly see someone using my icon, only they've changed it slightly and not told me, I tend to get a little miffed.
3. NEVER, EVER claim you made these icons. You didn't. I did. End of story.
4. The icons in the gallery section of the site are not for your use. They are icons that I've made for other people or that I am currently using. I like being able to have exclusive right to my own icons. The gallery is a showcase for my own vanity. I get really pissed if people use icons from that section, as it is very clearly marked "NOT FOR YOU". So don't use them.
5. I don't require credit in your picture keywords, but it is nice and I do appreciate it. If you decide to credit me, please use my icon journal, Iconicized :)
6. If you really, really like me, you could link to me. If you'd like to use a button I've made, check out the links page.
7. I'd really appreciate it if, after you take an icon or two (or ten), you'd tell me about it using the tagger on the main page. I won't go on an enraged rampage if you don't, but I like knowing who is using my icons, where they're using them, and what ones they're using.
That's all! Not so bad, eh? So long as you follow those rules, I won't hunt you down and spam you with pure hate. Agreed?
